Looking for exciting things to do in the Highlands? Look no further as Perthshire is the perfect place to make the most of the great outdoors. With miles of footpaths covering Munros, through woodlands and along riverbanks you’re bound to find a walk that is perfect for all the family, including the dog!

For all thrill-seekers there are also multiple local companies that organise activities such as quad biking, clay pigeon shooting and even bungee jumping.

You can also arrange a private tour of Killiecrankie with a ranger.

The countryside is open to everyone so please be respectful of others and the environment by keeping dogs under control and following the Scottish Outdoor Access Code at all times.

Please also note that we don’t allow any open fires or BBQs at Killiecrankie at any time of year, to help us protect the beautiful woodland. If you are wild camping, please only use a small gas stove – unless it is during a period of high wildfire risk, when we ask that stoves are not used either.
