Facilities & access

Disabled parking is available beside the castle: please follow the signs from the car park.

Toilets are open 10.00–17.00 from 1 April to 30 October.

Bike racks are available beside the castle. They are located just past the accessible parking bays.

Buggy access

Enjoy delicious home baking, sandwiches and soups made with seasonal produce from the kitchen garden in our delightful tearoom.

Dogs are welcome on the woodland walk.

The castle can be visited by guided tours only, which take place on the hour. You can book on arrival at reception.

  • Parking is available in the main car park, with a short walk through the grounds to the castle.
  • Parking is free for members of the National Trust for Scotland. Pay & Display charges (£2 a day) apply otherwise.

Toilets are open 10.00–17.00 from 1 April to 30 October.

Take the opportunity to explore our beautiful walled garden, and the short woodland walk.

The shop, tearoom, toilets and garden are wheelchair accessible. A wheelchair is also available.
