Bachelors’ Club

Robert Burns learned to dance and debate in this authentically restored house.

Planning your visit

To preserve the Bachelors’ Club's character and integrity, we will shortly begin a phased project that begins with rethatching the roof.

The Bachelors’ Club will be closed to the public for the rest of the season as we embark on this crucial restoration project. We anticipate reopening in 2025 and look forward to welcoming visitors back. Please check our website for updates on the reopening: https://www.nts.org.uk/visit.

There are food and drink facilities in Tarbolton village or the nearby town of Ayr, and at Robert Burns Birthplace Museum.

Please see our drop-down Facilities below for helpful information about planning your visit.

For more information about planning your visit, please see our frequently asked questions.

If you’d like to speak to us, please call 01292 443700 (RBBM).
