Quirky historic home filled with curios from all over the world

Planning your visit

Drone flying is not permitted at this property without prior permission and approval. Commercial operators should contact the Trust’s Filming Manager at filming@nts.org.uk.

Please note that we do not have EV charging facilities at Leith Hall.

For more information about planning your visit, please see our drop-down facilities below or our frequently asked questions.

If you’d like to speak to us we can be contacted by email: leithhall@nts.org.uk or telephone 01464 831216.

Facilities & access

The walled garden is on a slope above the main car park, which can prove difficult for those with mobility issues. If this is the case, we recommend that you park at the stable block at the top of the garden and enter the garden there.

We have an ongoing programme of accessible content development. Detailed accessibility guides for the most visited Trust places are available on our Accessibility pages as well as links to useful resources.

We’d love you to visit the Euan’s Guide website to review the accessibility of Trust places and tell us (and others) what’s good and where we need to do better.

There are accessible car parking spaces immediately outside the Hall.

We have bike racks at Leith Hall.

Buggy access

The tearoom serves hot drinks, cakes and lunches.

Dogs are welcome on the estate and on our trails, but are not permitted in the walled garden nor in the Hall itself.

There is now a dog-friendly area of the tearoom, The Nook, which can be accessed from the courtyard.

Assistance dogs are welcome in all areas.

Highchair

Parking is free for members of the National Trust for Scotland. Pay & Display charges apply otherwise.

There’s ample parking in the main car park.

Enjoy a picnic on the lawn and take in the beautiful surroundings.

Visits to the hall are by guided tour but you can explore the beautiful garden and grounds at your own pace.

The walled garden is filled with interesting architectural features as well as boasting marvellous views.

Explore one of our three waymarked trails around the estate and enjoy lovely views of the surrounding Aberdeenshire countryside.

Visit our shop for a great selection of gifts.
