Terrace Café, Threave Garden & Nature Reserve
Threave Garden Café has recently had a major refurbishment. In addition to its fresh new appearance, the café has an exciting new menu that caters to a wide range of dietary requirements.
Working closely with our highly skilled gardeners, we use fresh produce from Threave’s walled garden year-round and source locally produced food, which in turn helps to reduce food mileage and our carbon footprint.
Our daily specials are incredibly popular. And to top off your lunch, we have a fantastic variety of cakes, pastries and traybakes, not to mention our delicious homemade scones.
The indoor seating area is spacious and has a generous dog-friendly section. If you prefer outdoor seating, you’ll love the stunning views of the gardens and surrounding areas, which never fail to impress.

Branklyn Garden Tearoom

Enjoy your food & drink outside on the covered terrace or the lawn, soaking in the tranquillity and the spectacular view across Perth. If you prefer to stay indoors, our cosy seating area offers a charming alternative with garden views – you might even spot a red squirrel or robin while sipping your tea.
The tearoom serves up a variety of hot and cold drinks, homemade cakes, and light lunches including delicious soups and sandwiches. We cater for everyone, with gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian and children’s options available. Well-behaved dogs on short leads are welcome in the tearoom, and we provide water bowls for your furry friends.
Our famous freshly baked scones, paired with speciality tea from Suki or our special National Trust for Scotland coffee blend Nàdar, are a must-try! Everything is served in beautiful, mismatched china. And don’t miss our charming teapots, kept warm by knitted tea cosies handcrafted by our talented team members.
Try our new Trust coffee blend
Our blend’s name is Nàdar, which means ’nature’ in Scottish Gaelic, and it has been developed in collaboration with our tea and coffee supplier Matthew Algie, based in Glasgow. It is Fairtrade-certified and sourced from farming co-operatives in Brazil, Honduras and India.
The recipe has been carefully designed to capture the essence of the Trust; its profile can be described as roasted, earthy, sweet and pinewood. The personality of our coffee can be summed up as cosy: think long walks in the countryside, or a pinewood on a windy day.

You can also now buy Nàdar coffee beans, so you can enjoy a taste of the National Trust for Scotland from the comfort of your home.
